Low quality and defective door knobs

One more week to go and it’s house rental payment time again. Argh! Wish we wouldn’t be paying this month because I want to change the door knobs here in the house. When we transferred here, I noticed the door knobs are of low quality. What made me say that? Because we’ve been locked outside one time. Glad Donald was able to fix it. Then the CR’s door knob was locked and we cannot open it with its key. After more than an hour, Ace was able to open it. The worst happened last Monday when my cousin-in-law closed the CR door and she was locked inside! It took us more than half an hour to forcibly open the door. After numerous attempts, I managed to break the door knob using a hammer. It’s not that easy huh. It took a lot of muscle stregth and I end up drenched in sweat so is Manang Inday who is locked inside the CR. 

 I want to replace those defective, low-quality door knobs to be charged from our rental fee. Hopefully our landlady will agree.  

Talking speedometer

I always remind Ace to drive slow. When we’re on the road, I am his talking speedometer because 60kph is already fast for me and I constantly tell him we’re driving fast.LOL. If he’s alone driving, I don’t know how fast he goes but I hope it’s not beyond 100kph because it’s too dangerous riding a motorbike at that speed. If there’s only a way for me to monitor his driving speed even if I am here at home, I would. But the only gadget that I could think of are radar detectors which he could detect if he’s been motitored by a radar. Hmm…it’s not for me. It’s for Ace so he could slow down before being issued a ticket for overspeeding.I hope there’s a gadget that I could use to monitor his speedometer reading when he’s on the road. 

Blog giveaway

I’m planning to host a blog giveaway in my main blog and the items to be given away are my sister Carol’s products - her swarovski crystal jewelries! Hope it would be enough price for somebody who have exerted the effort to blog about my monthly giveaway. If only I could afford more expensive items such as signature bags or wallets, or even the more expensive jewelries with sparkling diamonds, I would surely include that to my giveaway. But who knows, somebody will sponsor that diamond jewelry blog giveaway? Let’s hope and pray.

Ella’s dream kids pool

Ella was here for two consecutive nights this week. After fetching her at her playmate’s house, we had dinner together. But before she ate, she was talking about the big kids pool of her playmates. I remember she has been asking for a pool last year but I wasn’t able to buy her that. So I told her to make good in her studies and I will give her dream kid’s pool on December. She was so ecstatic and then said “yung malaki tita para kasali si Eman” (the big one Tita so Eman could join me). Such a sweetie big sister. So the stage Tita searched for kids pool online but I was sidetracked and spent much time looking at Peg perego kids ride on toys. Wish I could afford it for them! Anyway, I’ll have to get the pool first.
