Haven’t slept well last night though I crawled to bed earlier than usual. Just when I finally doze off, I was awaken by a motorcycle attempting to U-turn that lasted for a couple of minutes. Ace was also awaken by the motor’s engine going on and off. Then he peeped in our bedroom window and saw the motorcycle near our gate. The neighbors living in the hut in the slope went out and asked the driver where he is going because he’s almost in the dead end of the road and next to that is a steep slope. The driver seemed to be drank as he answered the guys “I’m going to Bajada”. Bajada is a barangay somewhere in downtown more than 10 kms. from here. I was really giggling in bed. How come he mistakenly thought that the road he’s taking was the national highway when the road in our place is not even paved. He must not be in his sane mind and I can’t stop to laugh at the man. Thanks God that he slowed down upon reaching the dead end. Or else, we will pick him up in the grasses. As the man left the place, he was told to drive carefully as the guys in the neighborhood knew he was not in the right state of mind to drive. Hopefully, he arrived his destination safely.
