It was last Sunday when we dropped by the mall and saw showcased cars for the BPI Family Bank Automadness. Ace did enjoy and I’m sure he wanted to have one. Who wouldn’t want a car, anyway? Just don’t think about the maintenance and fuel expenses and everybody would love to have a car for convenience. If we happen to live in the province, I don’t think it is necessary but in the city, I am beginning to believe a car is a necessity after the numerous instances we’ve been stranded in the city waiting for a cab. It’s also hard to ride in a PUJ during peak hours and I hate standing by the road for an hour or so waiting for a ride.
Owning a car is so expensive in this part of the planet. It will also consume some of your time processing documents and other requirements aside from the yearly renewal of driver’s license. Compared to other countries, processing of documents and requirements can be done online. One can even get an online auto insurance quote which I think is very convenient to save time from going to auto insurance companies and get a quotation. I hope by the time we can afford to own a car, everything can be processed online for our convenience…and that’s what? Two centuries from now?LOL.
Since Google Chrome was released, I’ve been using it as my default browser and so Mozilla and Internet Explorer are now on the back seat. After days of using it, I noticed I have problem with inserting a html code or just simply edit a post with Google Chrome. I’m always prompted with “this browser does not support rich text…blah..blah…blah”. Hayts, I need to open this blog in either Mozilla or IE. Thus two or three browsers are open everytime.
Anyway, it’s Saturday again. Time flies so fast and it’s almost the middle of the month. In less than a month, we’ll be going to Dumaguete to attend Borski and Nai’s wedding. As I have recounted it in my other blogs, I am excited with this trip because we’re going to see friends and churchmates in Cebu. Plans wasn’t final yet as to where we are going to stay in Cebu. Will it be in a friend’s house or in a hotel so that we won’t be bothering a friend for accommodating us. If we’ll stay in a hotel, we could ask from a churchmates who’s working in a hotel for any hotel deals they offer. For sure it would be a great deal for us. Yey! I am so excited for this trip. So much for that as I need to go now to finalize the design of the cocktail dress I will be wearing in the wedding for the seamstress needs it ASAP.
