Travel bug

I am a suppressed travel bug. I have a list of my must-see places in mind most of which are the beautiful provinces within the country and I wish to go to the said places in mind one at time…I mean, even a once-a-year travel would do. For this year, we went to Camiguin Island with some of my high school classmates. Next years’ destination is not yet finalized as we are planning to meet my high school classmate in HongKong on her way to the country from Canada. But if we cannot go to HongKong, we’d go with her to Manila and up to Ilocos before she will fly back to Canada. Why Ilocos? Ace wanted to see Ilocandia among all provinces and Pinky said it’s really great and must-see place. If we’d go global, I would also want a Las Vegas travel to experience Vegas at night. I wanted to see the neon lights myself and I am sure it’s a good photo subject. Afterall, my main interest in visiting other places is to take photographs. 

Baby stroller

It’s been a while since I last communicated with my bestfriend. The last time I heard from her was she’s pregnant to her 2nd child. A former officemate is also due next month while my high school classmate who got married on the same day as our wedding day last year is due last week of this month. Also, my sister Carol is on the way. Should I panic now for not conceiving after a year of being married? Though I am envious at the thought that they’re going to have a baby, I think I should not be in a hurry. There are times that I long for a baby but if I think of my expenses in sending my youngest sister to school, I almost would not want a baby this soon. 

Times when I long for a baby, I would satisfy that want by just going to the baby section of department stores and feed my eyes with the cute yet expensive baby stuffs. By just going to that place I came to familiarize myself with the brandnames that are of good quality. The most expensive baby stuff I think are the strollers  and I can’t believe it costs a few hundred bucks. However, if I would need a stroller for my baby one of these days, the internet is a good source of information with a bunch of strollers to choose from because buying a stroller should not only be depending on the budget but style, safety and convenience should be the considered instead.     

Ruby Tuesday: Red table setting

I usually see table setting in different contests being held for culinary or HRM students. But this one’s different with lots of red in the whole set-up. Seems like a table setting for the royal blood. Taken during the 2008 Kadayawan Festival table setting competition.
