December is coming. Time for Christmas Parties and all other activities. During my employment this is the busiest month for me due to some activities that I need to organize such as Christmas Party. Mind you, organizing a company’s Christmas Party is not as easy as organizing a Christmas Party in school. I have to work on the small budget and try to come up with a grand party while slashing some amount for the items to be raffled. To make everybody happy, I used to buy the same number of items for raffle as that with our headcount so that everybody can bring home an item be it a small canister or as big as washing machine. Pressure is not only with the budgeting but with the items for giveaways also. As early as November, request for promotional products should be made to corporate marketing or else we won’t receive it in time for the party. Sad to say, the company gives more importance to the customers and dealers and not on the employees. Hence we ended up with bad order or near expiration date products while the latter have have t-shirts, bags or other promotional products which I think is unfair to the employees. I hope this year my former colleagues will receive even just a tumbler such as what I saw in usimprintsdotcom. I don’t think giving out a small item would cost the company a lot. Anyway they can get it in bulk for a reasonable price. Paging URC, be generous enough to your employees!

Your comments are sad… but typical of American business I’m afraid.
