Trucking is one of the good businesses nowadays. With the geographical location of the fruit plantations to the ports and the expansion of the banana, pineapple and other produce in the region, many are investing on a trucking business as it brings in good money, I presume. But the risk is too high as the truckers will shoulder any damage incurred on the products considering that produce for imports costs thousands of $$$ per container van. Hence, drivers for this business needs to undergo an intensive
CDL training. The module is simply designed for trainees to learn how to drive a commercial vehicle such as trailer or tractor. I just don’t know if trucking or forwarding companies require their drivers to undergo CDL training. I hope so.
