Last weekend was a different one because we’re in other island far from here. We’re actually in Dumaguete City to attend hubby’s only sister’s wedding. Dumaguete City is known for the famous Silliman University that was founded in 1901. Though I’ve been to that place many times, I never get tired of going around the campus since Ace have always been so gracious to show me around and because it reminds me of my alma mater. The two have something in common….the huge trees along the university roads and pathways. While in my alma mater we have the welcome arc at the main entrance, Silliman University has the so-called PORTALS.
Hope everybody had a great week ahead. Join the fun here.
i have a former officemate who graduated from Silliman and she’s quite proud of her alma mater. my WS is up too.

My WS are posted here and here. Have a great week ahead!
Posted by FamiliaKhuletz at October 20, 2008, 8:10 pmhow true is it that if you flank the nursing board exams, the university will erect a statue of you in their campus?
Posted by jaejae at October 21, 2008, 4:36 am@jaejae- that’s not really true. Its a joke amongst students and alumni because Silliman University College of Nursing always has a 100% passing rate in the board exam.
hi pieceofmine… my apologies for using this space to comment on jaejae’s comment
