Hardwood

I am a big fan of hardwood be it in furnitures, in walls, or the house itself. I find it so beautiful maybe because I grew up living in a small house made of wood…but not with hard wood. Just an ordinary wood  not as expensive as hardwood.   Anyway, like anybody being fascinated with hardwoods, I wanted to be our future home made of wood but it is more expensive than a concrete one. It could also be a house with concrete walls but with wood flooring because a beautiful wood flooring exudes elegance and a nice ambiance. Just for the record, I wanted to have this one…it looks like the floor of our old house back in my hometown.

Wishing

How I wish I am expecting. I and Ace wanted a baby so much to complete the family. We’ve been married for more than a year already but we’re not blessed with a baby yet. Sometimes, I think I am putting so much pressure on the thought that I should conceive so people won’t ask me why we’re not having a baby yet. I was even told by my cousins that I should be pregnant so I will be the center of attention in our next reunion and that will be on New Year! See, expecting moms get the much needed attention.

Sometimes I find myself browsing in a site for baby stuffs and dream that one day, I will also buy those things for my baby. When we chance ourselves in the baby section in the malls, I would just wish I am expecting or will be expecting soon. Just this afternoon, I long to see baby stuffs so I tried to satisfy my longing by looking at some baby stuffs online and spent sometime looking at the crib bedding section of the online baby store. Then I tried to imagine buying for my baby. Though it’s a bit pricey, I am sure I could not resist to buy it when the time comes. This are my choices of crib bedding. Aren’t they cute?
