Piece of Mine

Let the pictures talk

Tuesday, December 9th, 2008

With the 5 blogs that I have, I find it time consuming to go through my photo files, resize the photos, embed my signature and then upload it my photo hosting account. Because of that process, I am limited to posting my photos only to photo memes that I join. I am just lazy to do the process again and again for all the photos that I wanted to post in my blogs. Sometimes I wanted to include a photo to my post but I don’t have an appropriate file so I go over thousands of photos in the net looking for my desired photo and ended up with nothing after spending so much time browsing the net. Now I am just happy that acobox.com is up to help bloggers like me who wanted to use photos in the posts to make it more appealing to the visitors and readers. The site hosts blog pictures of different categories and it is so easy to use. It doesn’t need another time consuming process to resize the photo before posting it in the blog. It’s very convenient for me and for everybody for sure. Since I was curious how the site works, I signed up for an account and after a few minutes, my account is active. Then I can go through the photos and choose which I wanted to use in my post. Sine I  love bodies of water a lot…I wanted to show this photo I got from acobox.com. Believe me, using blog photos from acobox.com is so easy as 123. Why not try signing up for an account and enjoy the site’s free services.

"crack"

My blood surge to my head for a while. The glass cover of the signature frame that was a gift from Ace’ aunt during our wedding broke. It wasn’t used as signature frame during the wedding because the color is out of this world for our wedding. Our color motif is pool blue with a canary yellow accent and we got a baby pink signature frame. Now tell me how could we use it during the wedding? Since we didn’t use it, it turned to be a photo frame of some of our wedding photos we hang in the living room wall. Earlier I put it down to give way to the christmas wreath and let it sit in the bench with the throw pillow. After setting up the wreath, I totally forgot to keep safe the frame until…”crack”. I instantly recall the frame. The glass broke because Che2x sit on the chair without checking what’s in it. For sure Ace will be mad about it and to me for being forgetful. I don’t really care much about the frame because it’s not my type. I am just keeping it because it was given to us though it doesn’t serve its purpose.

Ruby Tuesday: Glass Beads Lampshade

Photobucket

It’s a long time plan to buy a lampshade for our room but until now we haven’t bought one. Some are too costly that Ace said I could make one because I am creative enough and he’ll set-up the bulb and wirings. So I am not aiming to buy a lampshade anymore. I’ll try to scout for nice materials in the hardware or in craft stores instead. Anyway, I was amazed at this lampshade made of glass beads we saw in the Christmas Bazaar the other weekend. So nice, yet pricey. Just imagine the effort it took for the people to gather all the Red and White beads to  form it to lampshade. If I would make like this one, it will take me forever to finish it, for sure.
