Less stress, more fats

If others would curse the excess fats in their bodies, I would be thankful for mine because I won’t hear comments from others that I am skinny. Being petite and skinny make me look like a grader (according to one of my aunts). Fats for me now are considered my achievement because it means I am not starving, that I have money to buy foods. However, talking to my friends who are “wider” (I mean they are fat) than me about my goal in gaining weight, they strongly disagree. For them it’s like hell having those excess fats mainly because they cannot wear flattering clothes and they don’t look sexy. If they are taking a diet pill to lose some weight, I would love to take appetite booster for me to be able to eat MORE and gain more weight. However, the improvement in my weight now is attributable to the stress-free environment that we are living now. 

What if???

I can’t recall how long I have been dreaming to have a decent wardrobe cabinet. I and Ace actually have one custom-made by our churchmate but it was like a cabinet for a kid ‘coz it was smaller than the standard size.  Because I really wanted to have one, I came to the point of considering getting one from a surplus store  but the thought of “what if the wardrobe cabinet has a dark past and a spirit might be dwelling in there and in the middle of the night it will open itself?”. My former officemates laughed at me when I told them about that thought but I am serious. I am not joking. What if somebody might have died inside the cabinet? That’s what I get from the horror movies that I’ve watched that scared me to death. (more…)

Camera Critters: Sleepy head Kiaw-Kiaw

When Kiaw-Kiaw wanted to sleep, he’s not like other cats who just sleep on the floor. He wanted something comfortable and so he owned our bed for a day when the weather’s not good and he’s such a sleepy head.

WIth our new place (not actually ours because we are renting), we need some furnitures, fixtures and appliances. For the time being, PILs lend us their dining set, gas range and fridge, cabinet, 2 chairs and some furnitures for the living room so our apartment would not look bare. Since we don’t have a sofa yet and the TV is in the living room, Ace lies on a comforter for his movie marathon. So when the eldest daughter of Jovanni was here and watched movie, she seemed uneasy having no comfortable sofa to sit on because she was changing from one position to another until she finally settled in the foam-padded dining chair.
