It’s been a while since I made a decent post here. As much as I want to, I felt I am out of words. So many things happened but I am not in my sound mind to put it into words or I am just lazy to make my mind work for the past days. I am not in blogging mood for one good reason, cut-off will be more than a week to go so I have ALL the reason to just sit and PROCASTINATE. Seems my mind was conditioned to W_O_R_K when I am cramming.*LoL*. It works best when I am pressured so I am just taking my time and enjoying each day not updating my blog(?). My bad! Now I realized so many hours have been wasted, I should be uploading the photos to shutterfly now so I would be finished after a decade instead of century.*LoL* It will really be that long because we have tons of photos and uploading takes soooo much time (blame it to my slow internet connection).

When I visited a friend’s blog, her latest post was a photo of “Kamachile”. Then I remember my childhood days when we “hunt” Kamachile fruits in the vacant lot in front of our yard in my hometown. I know that fruit is not that delicious but it thrills us when we see ripe (the colored red) fruits hanging by the branches. Another thing that thrills me when I was still a child is what we call “sarisa” or aratiles in Tagalog, Cherry Tree in English (Muntingua calabura). I couldn’t contain my joy everytime I could see Aratiles tree with fruits waiting to be harvested. I just keep on collecting the fruits and don’t eat that much. I am just fascinated by its colors.*LoL*.
Oh, I forgot. There’s another thing that kept me coming back to the house of my grandparent’s neighbor before. They have Blackberry plants in their front yard that we (the children) got to enjoy harvesting the ripe fruits, roll it in our palms and eat. Yummy! When I checked on google for an image, all I could see are the blackberries in other parts of the world.*pout*. But anyway, if you’re familiar with this fruit, I’m sure you have your story to tell about that fruit…that childhood adventure you had hunting for either camachile, aratiles, or blackberry fruits.
All other domains are down so my attention shifted to this blog. If only this blog could talk, I am sure it will utter in thanksgiving that my domains are down.*LoL*. The Life’s Lessons was down since yesterday because I have changed domain registrar and transferred the files to my host. There I miss one step in the process of smooth transfer so I had to ask technical support from my host company. A few minutes ago, I’ve noticed all other domains are down (because they’re all hosted in one account). There might have been problem with my host but I was hoping all will be resolved soon. Anyway, I don’t bother much when my sites hosted in namecheap is down because I know it’ll be up and going after a few moments. I never had problem with long downtime with them so I am confident downtime won’t take that long.
Joke.*grin*. That’s one big dream, anyway. So, who’s going to California to visit Disneyland and Disney’s California Adventure theme park? It’s best to stay in a hotel near the items in your itenirary to save a bit on transpo and you’ll not be tired of driving from the hotel to the tourist destinations that you’re looking forward to see. If you want to be near Disneyland, go check in at Anaheim California hotel. It is actually walking distance from Disneyland and Disney’s California Adventure theme park (so near!) and a few minutes drive to from the Anaheim Convention Center, Knott’s Berry Farm amusement park, Angel Stadium of Anaheim and the Crystal Cathedral. The Honda Center, home of the NHL’s Anaheim Mighty Ducks, is also nearby. If you’re a big fan of Hollywood stars and been dreaming to be in Hollywood, it is 30 miles away from the hotel. Who knows, you could brush elbows with some Hollywood stars. Your vacation would be star-studded then. Happy trip, and enjoy your vacation!
Could you imagine how long we’ve been planning to move yet we didn’t find a place to rent and when the plan was almost buried 6 feet below the ground, Ace received a text message from his friend that the apartment unit beside them is vacant. We didn’t give it a second thought. By hook or by crook, we have to move and so we did. What really took us eternity to find a house to rent? Well, if you’re living in this side of the planet where modernization and industrialization is almost crawling, you have to walk around every street just to find a house or apartment for rent for it’s not like in highly urbanized places where everything’s posted in classified ads and in the world wide web.
