A couple friends flew to Manila yesterday because they’re going up to the summer capital of the Philippines - Baguio City! Then another friend talks about going for a vacation to Bohol in May. Last night, we met with some high school friends who were based here in Davao and talked about going somewhere because we’re ALL burned out. Who wouldn’t be burned out with all the stressors we’re facing each day? So one of our friends was offering their resort in Canibad beach somewhere in Samal Island. Yay! Beach again. Since the place is not yet developed, we’d go on camping there. Been there last year but haven’t spent much time in the place. The place is really nice…with white pebbled shoreline and beach. If the resort owners would develop it with facilities and amenities like that of the Outer Banks, I hope they would retain the natural beauty of the place. Anyway, I hope the corporate slaves could take a day off (all of them at the same time) from work so we could go to the beach the soonest.
