Our first electric bill reached almost a thousand pesos. The difference between our’s and our neighbor’s bill is only almost 500 pesos when they have an A/C unit that they’ve been using every night and at noon, their 2 electric fans are turned on most of the time every single day, they leave the light outside their unit and inside their room on for the whole night. I think that’s the only difference on how we consume electricity but I cannot imagine with how come the difference between our bills is not that big considering that they are using an A/C every night. So I was thinking there must be something wrong with one of our appliances that it consumes huge amount of power.

“What’s for dinner?” That’s what Ace usually calls for before he goes home and when he’s home, he eats just before he could change his work clothes. I noticed he usually eats too fast as if he’s been deprived of food for a day and he’s eating more these past months compared before.
Before he had his dinner last night, he got a tape measure and put it around his waist telling me that an inch was added to his waist line. So his waist now measures 32″. Based on his records in their company’s clinic, he measures 29 when he started working and now after more than a year he’s 32. Sign of progress? Sort of! He eats a lot the past months as if he’s taking an appetite booster. For now he doesn’t have plans of taking appetite suppressant because gaining weight is a remarkable thing for him since he was so skinny ever since the world began (I think).
