Overslept

Sunday, June 28th, 2009
I think I overslept. I went to bed early last night…yes, 12MN is early for me for more than a month now since I am reporting for work from 10AM-11AM CST (Central Standard Time) or that’s 11PM-12MN Philippine time. Not like any other nights, it didn’t take long before I doze off. I must have been tired. What I actually planned is to get up after 4 hours so I could do my assignments early but I overslept. If not because of KiawKiaw calling out by the door, I wouldn’t be up this time. When I glanced at the clock, it’s already 6AM so I slept almost 6 hours. Now I have a very long day to go and I hope to finish many tasks today.

Tired

Saturday, June 27th, 2009
Gee, I haven’t done a quarter of the number of tasks that I should do but I am now sleepy. My eyes are tired, as well as my mind but I really need to double time because time is running out. I only have more than a day to finish everything. But before I finally join Ace in dreamland, I need to finish reading phenphedrine review that I have started with before we went out for mall strolling and dinner. I just hope I could finish it before my eyes would shut as I could feel it will not take long and I would be typing a post with closed eyes. Yes, sometimes when I am too sleepy, I tend to type with eyes closed and then open it to check if I typed the correct spelling.*lol*.

News

Where do you get most of your information about current local events?from TV news programs.

Where do you get most of your information about current national and international events?from Yahoo. It’s my homepage so everytimeI open a page, I get to have a glimpse of what’s the latest international events.

Who in your family always is most likely to know what’s up with everyone else in your family?I guess my cousin, Manang Tessie.

Who at work (or school) always seems to know what’s going on? in my current work, it’s the COO who is on top of everything. In my previous workplace, it’s the gossipers who knows everything.

What other kinds of news do you try to keep up-to-date on and where do you get it? if it’s considered news, then it’s the updates about my friends that I read on their friendster accounts, facebook profiles, or in the mailing list.

Morning walk

We’re planning to go for an early morning walk in the parking lot of a nearby mall or at People’s Park even just once a week. But with my work schedule, I can’t get up too early because I’m off at 12MN and I can’t immediately sleep because my mind is still on work mode (though my eyes are too tired and sleepy). Also, Ace can’t join me on weekdays and Saturday so the best time is Sunday morning. But that’s the only day that Ace will have a chance to spend more hours in bed because he’s off from work so I think that planned walk in the park will be postponed until Ace resigns from his work or he could get up early on his supposed to be rest day. Then Ace is convincing me to try going to the gym with my friend but I don’t want the idea that I’d be out of the house often as gym schedule is every other day. So I am making use of the skipping rope that he bought since we don’t have a treadmill in the house. I am not wishing to have a one because I don’t see myself taking it seriously. It might end up a wasted investment if it will just accumulate dust in the corner. Also, if we’ll have a treadmill, then there’s no reason for me to rant about losing weight because the apparatus to help me lose weight is within my reach.

Non-life is more important

Thursday, June 25th, 2009

With the many incidents of pre-need insurance companies going down, I don’t think it is still wise to get a pre-need plan these days for we don’t know if that said company will still exist when it is time for us to reap the benefits from painstakingly paying the premium for years. For the case of non-life, it is a must especially if we have assets that we want to protect like car, house, and other properties. Come to think of it, even photography gears can be insured these days! While I see pre-need isn’t that necessary, I find  non-life insurance to be more important. People continue to acquire properties and assets and wanted it to be insured for sure. Hence, non-life insurance companies are in tough competition. But before we make the deal to get an insurance, it is always wise to compare between offers by getting free insurance quotes of the insurance companies to make sure we are getting the most out of our money.
