Tummy blast

An unusual day for us! Ace was home before 7pm (that is really once in a blue moon) and we decided to hit the mall for some window shopping at the electronics shop . But instead of going directly to the electronics shop that we are frequenting, we decided to fill our tummies first but it took us a while to decide where to eat. I know for one that Ace didn’t like pan pizza but I don’t want the atmosphere in Greenwich so we opted for Pizza Hut and our stomachs had a blast! He was really hungry that it didn’t matter to him that what he’s eating isn’t what he used to. Guess he is now beginning to like pan pizzas or he is just too hungry to be too choosy this time. Anyway, we stayed long at the resto that we didn’t realized it was closing time already. So we’ll try to visit the electronics shop tomorrow if we’ll have time. 

School Days, School Days

1. What was your favorite class/subject in school? During Elementary, it’s Science…in high school, Statistics…in College, Filipino Psychology and Social Psychology.
2. Who was your favorite teacher? In Elementary, my Science Quiz mentor, Mrs. Aquino, during HS, our Stat teacher Dr. Connie Tagaro, during college, Prof. Jenny Sinco.
3. Why was your favorite teacher your favorite?they are all great teachers.
   
4. What would you have liked to major in in college? Or what will you major in if you go to college? I like my course/major a lot ‘coz it’s really my choice.
5. Would you rather go to a small, medium, or large college, if you had the money to go to any of the three? I don’t actually consider the size but I am after the quality of teaching of a certain school. So if I have the money, I would prefer going to an expensive university that has the highest teaching quality.But so far, State University’s standard of teaching is far better compared to most private universities now so I would still opt for the most expensive State U.  

Memory

For more than a month now, I am uploading our photos to my pro account in flickr. Ace was assuming that as I finish uploading the photos of a certain month, I delete it from the computer. So when he checked for the free memory of the CPU the other night, he was surprised to see that it’s still almost full with only a few gigabytes left of free space. Well, I still can’t delete the files stored in the PC because I am not working on that yet. I am still uploading photos taken last year that I saved in DVD and the photos in the hard drive are this year’s photos. So I can’t really delete the photo files now. I have to wait for last years photos to be all uploaded at flickr so I can start on this year’s photos. I am actually itching to finish it. See, for just a few months of photos, the CPUs memory is almost full. Then we really need to upgrade or buy computer memory for more space to store photos as I don’t want to rely  only on flickr and DVD where the photos will be stored. I also want a backup in hard disk so in case one may crash down, I could still restore the files from other sources.

What do you want to do today?

I’ve so many things lined up for today…like finish sorting the clothes that we are giving away, do my fulltime work and finish some sideline tasks. But what I really wanted to do today is to snuggle in bed because it’s been gloomy! I would love to go back to sleep for I honestly need it.

Sports bottle

Ace is into sports (though he is not into rigid practice) but he has the guts to play during sports events in their company. In fairness, he plays well. The last time they had Badminton Tournament, he was paired to a colleague that is much older than him and their opponents are too wise to direct the shuttlecock to his teammate that made the other team won! So I told Ace to choose his pair next time they have a game so his effort in making his team score wouldn’t be worthless. 

Anyway, since he is now planning to play badminton as much as he can (in preparation for coming events), he is looking for a fitness bottle in the grocery we’ve been to. I could recall he has one before and it’s a special release of my previous company’s bottled water division. I don’t know where that said bottle go that Ace was really disappointed when he cannot locate it. That bottle is not that durable though so I told him to buy one that is durable so it would last long. However, he has no luck in finding a fitness bottle in the grocery (he’s actually looking for Gatorade’s) so I checked where could we find one. I actually found a site that makes custom water bottles, sports bottles, and the like for corporate giveaways or product promotions. So this must be a great site where Ace’ employer could order as their giveaways during sports events, instead of just giving away shirts. I hope I won’t forget to mention that to Ace when he gets home.
