Ace and I are opposite when we talk about sports. I am not sportsminded while he is the opposite. He is good at anything that he plays even without proper training and practice. However, there’s one thing that we used to play before. When he’s visiting me in our hometown more than 8 years ago, we used to hang out in the parsonage and play table tennis or ping pong. It’s the only sport that I think I could play (aside from Volleyball that I almost failed ) though not so good but at least I could. When we went to Cebu, the young people in Downtown Church used to hang out at the church building every-single-day and again, we’re playing ping pong with a makeshift ping pong table. We used monobloc plastic chairs that served as the table’s legs then positioned on top of the chair is a plywood. The absense of a true ping pong table is not a hindrance for having a nice time playing with the fellow YP’s. But since the table is too high for me, I don’t play often not like when I was still in Kabacan. Now Downtown Church has a standard ping pong table that the young once and young ones could enjoy and we’re wishing that one day we’ll be able to play there with the same faces that used to play in that makeshift ping pong table more than 8 years ago.
