Sleepless nights

Ace woke me up around 5AM asking if I wanna join him going out for a jog in the nearby mall’s parking area. As much as I want to tag along because I badly need that exercise, I can’t drag myself out of the bed because I slept past 1AM. Being so groggy, I don’t think I can jog or even brisk walk so I chose to stay and sleep but as soon as Ace left, I wasn’t able to go back to lalaland. the more I force myself to sleep, all the more that my mind became wide awake. 

When Ace got home more than an hour after, I prepared breakfast and while eating, my eyes wanted to shut so I immediately hit the bed after eating. Finally, got another 2 hours of deep sleep early in the morning and it made me feel more alive when I woke up. Lack of sleep sometimes is taking its toll.
