So here’s the Selecta Double Dutch ice cream that we had this afternoon. Yummy! 

 I only had two scoops and I am fine because I don’t eat ice cream too much. 

Daddy’s secret

Haven’t mentioned about Daddy’s vacation for almost a month here and it’s been more than a week since he left to Kabacan to visit Mamang’s grave during her 4th death anniversary. Anyway, Daddy arrived here weeks after we moved. He’s just in time because our yard needs weeding. Thanks to him that we were able to save some amount to pay for somebody who will be pulling out weeds. After cleaning ours, Daddy spent another two days pulling weeds at my sister Carol’s yard. Then Daddy helped in painting our fence. He finished it before leaving to Kabacan. He was busy during his stay and I must say he’s not bored unlike when he visited us in the apartment where’s there’s no yard to keep clean. So he was so bored to death! 

Daddy could always find something to keep his hands busy. No idle day for him. With being physically active, I never seen him grow fats though at his age now, he is prone to be growing bulges around his tummy that will make him need the best weight loss supplement. So that’s the only secret for staying lean…being physically active, and less meat diet.  

General cleaning before moving out

The mother of the owner of this house we are renting now told me to maintain the house properly. Of course! She even mentioned that the former occupants are keeping the house tidy always. Really? When we moved here, the walls have dirt marks, the window grills’ white paint almost turned to gray because of dust, the floor and walls of the comfort room needs thorough brushing, the cabinet under the sink is full of empty ice cream containers, egg trays, broken faucets, and a lot more stuffs that the former renters must have thrown before they left. Seems like it wasn’t cleaned for so long because it has become a home for the cockroaches. The former renters left a month before we moved in. So that’s how they maintain the house? I am not into cleaning so much because I am not an OC in that aspect. But I do general cleaning before moving so it won’t be hard for the next occupants to clean. This house that we moved in? Seems it was not cleaned for 48 years.LOL.
