Loving the chores

What a slow yet quite productive day. I am getting used to be left alone at home during the day and do as much chores as I can or just leave it until I am in the mood to do it. Glad that Ace has learned the meaning of division of labor so I don’t need to ask him to do this or that. Love it! I just let him do his thing and that would definitely spare me from needing deep wrinkle cream sooner or later. So the secret of making him help with house chores is to keep silent and do my own thing. After which, he will do his share. He was too considerate on weekends to just let me rest while he takes care of the kitchen. Yay!

New look

Yay! Change layout again for this home. I got bored with the previous one. Though this new look seems boring, at least it’s new to my eyes so this would do. How I wish there’s more choices for templates and fonts so I could play with what I wanted to be.

Anyway, we’ve been sick the past days (Ace especially) but we feel better now. Thanks to the company of my HS classmates, the laugh trip, and the beef stew that we had last Saturday until the wee hours of Sunday. We really had fun that Ace felt better afterwards. After the meat overload last weekend, this must be the right time to cleanse our colon and experience the health benefits of colon cleansing. So high fiber diet starts today.

Token of gratitude

I had a meet-up with a friend last week for her wedding concerns. She then asked for a suggestion for unique gifts for her mom and the groom-to-be’s mom. I’ve no idea what’s the fad now but what I know (during my time) is a nice brooch or a piece of jewelry. After the meet-up, we went to NBS because I’m supposed to buy a magazine. the couple did their shopping there and what they got was a planner (I guess) for their moms. Sounds good if both the mothers need it or actually need a planner for their daily activities. Well, whatever it is, I am sure the mothers will be happy to receive token of gratitude from their son and daughter.
