Blog marathon weekend

It’s gonna be a blog marathon weekend because Monday is cut-off (again!). I may not enjoy it by making it working and blogging-free weekend but I will see to it that I and Ace will be going out to break the monotony of life being here at home all days of the week. I rarely go out on weekdays so we make sure I get to see the outside world during weekends.LOL. Unlike others who wanted to go out always, I love staying at home and am not bored even if I just sit here in front of the computer most of the time working and blogging. Maybe because this is my comfort zone, this is my haven. Those who wanted to go out always don’t find their homes comfortable to stay with because it is full of stress and a strong negative energy roaming in it. Well, that’s how they make the atmosphere in their homes. So they don’t have a choice but to desire on going out always. Anyway, blog marathon started last night but I haven’t done so much except for a couple of posts and checking for weight loss pills that contains irvingia gabonensis which is said to be the most popular ingredient in supplement industry. Hafta go and update my other blogs before I gave in to my body wanting to go back to bed because I only had 4 hours of sleep last night.

Wedding gift

Cramming is my game again! I’m supposed to just take work easily because I have until afternoon today. But a HS classmate texted early this morning inviting us in his wedding this afternoon. What? Such a short notice! So here I am cramming again. I need to finish everything before we’ll be off to attend my friend’s special day. Now I’m chatting with some HS classmates because we’re undecided what to give the couple. If I we more than enough one of the packages for Orlando vacations, would be nice. The couple could spend their honeymoon there. Such nice idea, right? But what we could only afford are not so pricey home stuffs so maybe we’d get them a microwave oven? Oh, still undecided. 

Low installment plan

A certain automobile company is offering a super low installment plan. Whew! That was so tempting especially that Ace badly wants a car or an SUV and we need it too for us all (my sissies, BIL, the kids, my cousin and his family) to be able to attend Sunday worship because taking a jeepney is not an option and taking a taxi is way too expensive. If only resources is limitless, I would have dragged Ace to the showroom and get a car or SUV that we want. We can loan it from the bank or from an asset based lending firm if we really want to. But it is not yet the right time to have a car. Maybe in a few years, if all our obligations will be paid and huge portion of our  combined earnings will be saved for the car. 

Too proud

So happy to see a former colleague last weekend at the grocery. We had a long talk that would not have ended should we both don’t have companions. We just talked about the person who replaced me when I left the company. Aside from personal issues that I’ve heard over and over again from every former colleague that I bumped into, they also have work issues with their HR Asst. now. I should have done pre-employment screening before hiring her but we’re just in a hurry to hire my replacement that time. Besides, we are too confident because she graduated from Ateneo de Davao University. Ony to find out she’s not really competent skills-wise and attitude-wise to do the job. The former colleague even mentioned that the HR now is too proud of herself and often boasts being an Atenean, yet she fails to do her job. Oh well, that is another concrete example that NOT ALL Ateneo graduates are intelligent. That reminds of somebody  I know who is exactly like that. Too proud to be an Atenean and thinks herself as INTELLIGENT and saying her hubby is not. Now let me tell you this, NOT ALL Ateneans are intelligent. Many of them aren’t. Intelligence cannot be measured by the school where a person graduated from. So that ATENEO product I know should stop boasting herself as intelligent. You are not actually, dear. I can’t even understand how you passed the Freshmen Christian Formation program where values are taught.Your IQ may be above average but your EQ is too low, so still, that can’t be considered intelligent.
